Shoe Sole Repair
Often, the first thing to become worn down on any pair of shoes, are the soles. The soles are the part of your shoe that touches the pavement, grass, and floors everywhere you go. It’s not uncommon for the sole to begin to separate from the bottom of the shoe, and when it does, you’ll know who to call.
To give you an idea of the work we do, here’s how we perform sole repair:
We will begin by cleaning the area that will be glued, using rubbing alcohol. Next, we will remove the insoles and stuff the shoes to maintain their shape. We will then apply a thick specialized shoe glue and reattach the sole to the shoe. After a few minutes, we will use a weight to clamp the two sides together and ensure a lasting repair. Finally, we will remove any excess glue and ensure that your shoes look and feel as good as new.
Sometimes, it’s necessary to replace the soles of your shoes altogether. If this is the case, our team is happy to help you find a replacement piece that fits your shoes.
